Akil and Arjun went back to their practice session. They traveled in silence after seeing their master in the canteen. Some boys were discussing about their master and words flew into their ears. "Hey Girls team were really rocking! Sir gave them a treat in our school canteen". By hearing this, their silence and gazing continued further. After a while, Akil opened " Did you inform Anita yesterday?". "Let us face the match first" replied Arjun ambitiously.            As planned earlier the children with master, boarded the bus for Tanjore. They took complete rest and gathered energy for the match. Consecutive winners will never enjoy such trips chatting, dancing or singing. Bus started around 8:00 am. With two breaks in the middle of the journey, they reached Tanjore around 5:30 pm. Arrangements were made in an essential way. Master announced for a short discussion and gathered the children to induce them uninterrupted focus and strength.

The next day started with full day cricket coaching as the students need to get ready for the match. Though stretching exercise varied for bowlers and batsman, warm up were common for all. Children usually think like "Why this master is very anxious in giving us these exercises while we need more training matches". But the reason behind is that, these exercises adds value in building up the core stability and flexibility to tackle the situation in the ground. After hearing the whistle blow from the senior bowler, the students went to put on their gadgets and started to arrange the net for practice. Girls team on the right side of the school ground and boys chose the left end.      Inter-school match is going to take place in Tanjore, Tamilnadu. Sports master was busy in arranging the transportation for the students. Totally 26 students, 13 boys and 13 girls were being trained for the day.       Girl's cricket team? Arjun was flooded with mystery,  as he had never heard of such terms during his coaching. He was unaware about the presence of such a team. Yes. Now, there exists a Girl's cricket team too! The sports master taught to keep this announcement under wraps. But Anita revealed the secrecy and now Arjun is confused about his reactions. Arjun was jumbled whether to smile or feel sad from the news. He always proceeded the drawings of Akil, his senior. Since Akil's mother is uneducated and people treated her more or less like a slave, Akil started to misinterpret all girls in the same angle. More than five parents have complained about Akil's ruthless behaviour and attitude towards their wards'.       " Children learn more from what you are than what you teach." - W.E.B. Dubois      Arjun came back to class with long face and waited for the break bell. After two periods they rang the bell.  He stood fast, ran to meet Akil dur

Sun rose in the next day morning, having great beauty and splendor awakened the living creatures of the earth. Arjun wore his ironed white silken shirt with regular white half pants and was getting ready to school. Mondays, he wears this uniform without fail due to the strict school management, as they watch them eyes wide open in bringing up the child with pakka discipline. He twisted his hip so that school belt revolves properly and sets in all loops. Finally he escaped from his mother by leaving half idli and some sambhar in his plate near the dining table.       Arjun is glad with two reasons. First thing is Ani, his old friend's admission and the next thing is the cricket match with other schools to be held sooner. He did sincere prayers to god that the match should not be conducted in SVJ School, as the master chants continuous slogans which made him irritated during his last visit to that school. " I want perffffffffect silenceeeee and dissssscipline !!!&q

Anita and Arjun starts their conversation..            " Hey Ani, shall we play some games ?" Arjun asked. "Why not?" she replied as a sign of acceptance. "Here comes your most favourite game - Snake and Ladder!". Astonishingly Anita said a "WOW" and was glad that Arjun remembered her game. "I love this game, as it taught me a take it easy approach." Arjun is more fond of outdoor games rather than playing inside the four walls. But since it is the happiness that flew after seeing his friend, made him to open the small game.             " Ok, let me start rolling the dice" Anita said after arranging the coins for counters. "Here comes my dice -Six !!! hurray!" Anita took the dice again as she gets an extra chance by rolling No. 6 . "First ball itself Sixer" Arjun said to himself.  She started rolling the dice and the dice in her hand moved from top to down, left to right and there came a

One sunny evening Arjun, a naughty boy, finished his cricket practice and rushed home to take a bath. He always follows the instruction given by his teacher, rather than his parents. Someone rung the calling bell 'ting tong ting tong'. "Arjun, Open the door !!" His mother shouted loud so that he could hear her soft voice from the kitchen. "Oh no! I just sat down after my bath" Arjun replied. " Mom is really busy with washing vessels, can't you do this favour for me?". After mother's reply, he stood up from the bean bag lazily and with no mood to know who had  rung the bell, he walked lazily towards the door.       To his surprise, it was Anita, his old school friend. "Arjun do you remember me?" the cute girl who was standing with her parents asked Arjun. "Ani, What a surprise?" Arjun welcomed them and rushed to the kitchen to grab the hands of his dedicated mother and dragged her to see the guest. Fro

Practice makes a man perfect ! A renowned proverb which we have heard almost around decades. Another one arrived just. "Practice makes progression and not perfect".  But I just have a doubt whether practice could make everything perfect? Can a dog's tail be straightened with practice? No hairsprays sorry ☺☺!!  Can the direction of wind, waterfall, rain be reversed on earth? Can a spoken word or the sped arrow be taken aback with practice? Do we all have time machine to enjoy the past life? Can we participate in a competition where we had already lost and win again?  Why to add all these questions when people can't even control their emotions of heart and mind?
